mud pump is the result of endless activity in the drill sector
that cimbines lifelong experience and modern technology.
WEI PRINCESS was patented in 2002
(Patent 0000256646)
and it is among the most
important novelties in drilling, having both hydraulic and
mechanic innovations.
Mechanically, WEI PRINCESS is provided with just a centre cam,
which improves pump efficiency and avoids wear : just think a
full revolution of the cam creates and alternate
suction-delivery movement; an ordinary pump with the same
capacity would be 30% bigger, and therefore more difficult to
load on trucks.
WEI PRINCESS can also work at alternate delivery and pressure
values just by using different diameters : so, in a WEI PRINCESS
two discharge-manifold, one can be used for heavy delivery and
low pressure and one for low delivery and high pressure, or,
while drilling, one manifold can be used for the drilling and
the other for mud treatment.
WEI PRINCESS does not have liners and pistons, which means no
costs for spares, but an inner diaphragm-piston (patented WEI),
so that the diaphragm touches the abrasive mud, leaving only the
gasket to be replaced.
WEI PRINCESS comes as a modular unit, which means you can have a
two, four, six unit pump or more.
Valves and seats are API #4.
